As the Onyx Order’s army stretches across the horizon, Templeton and Rayna stand on the walls of Fey Ember. Two different generations of soldiers staring into the storm. A missing statue, a fading goddess, and a city on the brink. Chaos erupts when the green flares color the air and sky splits. Skirmishes ignite, fear spreads, and Templeton must decide whether to flee or lead.

In the Fey Ember Colosseum, Chappy and Gimble clash in a surreal trial revealing a conspiracy between the Mercantile District, Onyx Order, and Zhentarim. Meanwhile, Fert frees 1,000 prisoners, Scraat infiltrates the Kept but loses invisibility, and Smurk’s magic wanes as reinforcements arrive. At the North Wall, Templeton joins Rayna Hopper to rally the defense. A towering antlered figure oversees it all as the true trial begins.

The Flame splits up to strike on three fronts: Chappy heads to Fey Haven to face trial, Fert and Scraat infiltrate The Kept to free prisoners under Smurk’s cover fire, and Templeton reaches the North Wall to rally defenses with Chester Swiftwind. As spells ignite, doors are forced open, and crowds roar, the Flame takes action—turning chaos into opportunity and setting Fey Ember’s fate into motion.
